Happy Birthday America!

I love the 4th of July! I love the Flag, Anthem, Pledge. I am proud to be an American.

The only downer is that it marks half of my summer gone. Even though I love my job (elementary school), it will be time to go back to work.

We will be celebrating with our growing family. Chance (17) is having friends over. Mason (20) and his fiancé, Mandy (24), will be coming by. Garett (hubby) will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs - American favorite.

Wishing you all, American or not, a beautiful day!

Thanks for linking up with Wayback Wednesdays! It sounds like you had some lovely 4th plans layed out. There's nothing like spending this time with family in traditional celebration of our Nation's birthday. I can imagine your apprehension, though with the realization that summer is half gone for you, as you think about resuming your teaching job sometime next month. You have an important one - teaching small children. That's definitely a rewarding position. God bless you! ^.^

Thanks so much. I'm not a teacher though. I'm an office aide - Attendance Clerk. I do have "teachable moments" though. : )
