I've dreamt of the winning lotto ticket ending up in my hands. Have you? Just think about that for a sec. Wouldn't it be great? Would you steal for it? Would I steal for it? Nope. Well, I don't think I would.
Sunday night on Dateline NBC, Chris Hansen did another report on dishonest store clerks who keep winning lotto tickets.
The investigator would ask the clerk if their ticket was a winner and things went from there... Clerks lying saying the ticket was not a winner or it was a $100 winner when it was really $10,000 winner.
Actually, it lead to many people telling many lies... just for money.
Times are tough all over. I know it. You know it. Charlie Sheen will soon be feeling his own financial pain (he might decide all those millions - not so bad).
By the end of the show I felt kinda bad. I wish more focus would have been given to those clerks who told the truth. Hey, Chris Hansen, give me a story that makes me smile and feel good about life. I'm facing crap every day.
It would be nice to forget our worries...at least for an hour.
